You tell them to wait because you want them to. “It’s better to wait,” you say. But it really isn’t better. The elders want you to wait, but did they? Probably not. Why do you think your mom is a hot thirty-two when you are sixteen?
What time is best? Each person must decide what is right for them. Everyone has their own time. For some it might be after marriage – society’s ideal, but for most people in our culture, it’s probably sooner.
That drive is strong in us. We want to breed, but we don’t necessarily want offspring as a result. Sex is fun! Really fun! Even the most conservative religious people would have to admit that it’s among God’s greatest gifts to us.
We like to cuddle, kiss, rub, and screw. It feels so good that we have to force ourselves NOT to do it. We have to put aside our feelings to adhere to society’s plans.
It’s normal to go through an age appropriate progression sexually beginning with girls chasing boys, boys chasing girls, Friday Flip Up Day where the boys try to flip up the girls’ skirts to see their panties, and the old dipping the pig tails in the ink well routine.
Then it moves up to stealing a kiss behind the barn, kissing parties like Spin the Bottle, French kissing, making out like mad, copping your first feel, moving his hand down between your legs, pressing up against each other… so much pressing. Moving on to manual manipulation, digital penetration, and the Final Frontier… going all the way.
It’s all individually determined. Everyone has their own time. Legally speaking, in California sixteen is the age of consent. But statutory rape can be prosecuted even with consent if one of the partners is an adult. Cases where the girl is thirteen and the boy is sixteen is not legal. When the boy is sixteen and the woman is twenty-three is also NOT legal.
For those who can’t resist there can be regret and undesirable consequences like pregnancy and STD’s. With modern birth control, one of the major consequences, pregnancy, can be prevented or avoided. But STD’s are a risk to everyone who decides to play at love. A condom is a preventative only if it is used properly and every time. Hygiene is important too.
“Wash before, during, and after.”
“During?” you may ask.
You must wash thoroughly and use a fresh condom.
So, considering your age, the law, and your family’s morals: like are they gonna kick your ass, kick you out, disinherit you, or have you arrested for being incorrigible? Considering further the mores of our society, the consequences of pregnancy, and STD’s… make your choices carefully. Otherwise, have a ball!
Sex is fun! It’s fun to play! But be careful… and if you can’t be careful, be careless… oops! (Seriously, use a condom every time)
